Unable to make updates

Trying to make changes to the files, but unable to get past the first step...program locks up and refuses to respond, can't change text, links, photos, save, export or anything. More less seems like the program is useless and not responding to any commands. It will not let me out of the program when trying to close the program, all it does is just either keeps that "spinning circle thinking going" or nothing at all....Using Windows 10...
Program will not update, close or restart....
any recommendations....
really liked the design program, but if can't make updates and changes....why keep using it

Tried to update a text and save it...that was 2 hours ago..still locked on "thinking"....can't exit or anything on program

There is no way to take a screen shot to show what happens. When I go in to make a text change and what to select "Review" or "OK", the screen freezes and never changes. It will not advance to next selection and will just sit there for hours just giving the whirling little circle that is usually a sign meaning it is thinking, but never advances. There are no error message, etc. It freezes, I am not able to "minimize" the screen, and the program will not let me "close" it out. It will not allow me to save editied pictures, hyperlinks, text change, new pages....it seems like what I have now is all it is letting me have....How in the world am I suppose to update a website if it will not accept any changes?

the words "specific project is ....continue?" is a popup box from the last time I tried to update the website, more than 5 days ago when last tried to make an update and was locked into the program....clicked "ok" to exit box, and then went into a page to try to make updates and insert a new box, but when went to add new text, the page will not advance and now locked in the "thinking" step and cannot make any changes, exit the page...thus being held hostage....no active link on the page will work..."Help", "SAVE" "Preview" "OK" "Cancel" or any of the side tabs....

try reduce the content of your object text, and start the program as administrator.

difficult to reduce the context of text when program freezes when trying to "change hyperlink"
I am the only one authorized to make changes to the site, how do I start the program as "admin"
to the point of giving a call to the overseas #, then going to ditch the program, not recommend it to anyone to ever use and go to another program if cannot find anyone to assist in resolving the issue of why the program freezes. Hard to use a website program to promote a business when can't update changes....

Paul M, the issue is not in the transfer of files, the issue is not being able to "update and make changes" to currently active files prior. For example, can't change text on an animal from "FOR SALE" to "SOLD". Can't add new photos or pages of new calves born this year.... Can't even add a hyperlink to a page already created.....problem is in the editing portion of the program, getting to transfer of any updated files not even available because program freezes before any new information can be created or updated

To start the program as an administrator, right-click on the WebSite X5 program shortcut icon in Windows and select 'Run as administrator' from the context menu.
