Hello Paolo F,
Yes, you can create your website with Website X5 Evolution or Professional and then you can install Wordpress on your One.com hosting as it offers you Wordpress Plus Plan. Open your one.com control panel and go to 1-Click Wordpress. If you want to create a blog with wordpress then select the blog location like blog.yourdomain.com or myblog.yourdomain.com. If you want to create a subdomain you select blog location anyname.yourdomain.com. Then Install wordpress and fill the details. After that you can create new user if you want to hand over the site to your user.
I hope this answer will help you. If you have any queries keep posting your issue
Suppose you have created a website like blog.yourdomain.com and created a new user. Your client can edit his/her website by log in to blog.yourdomain.com and the Wordpress Dashboard will appear. From the Dashboard He/She can control His/Her website.
Thank You
Hello Paolo
WordPress and X5 are 2 different programs. One.com offer you can use the WordPress program. This program has much more functionality and add-ons than the X5.
The easiest to use is X5 ( as you probably know ). With X5 you can use the built-in FTP function. This makes it easy to upload a site.
X5 is an off-line web tool. You can build the site and upload it when finished. Not all functions can be tested off-line.
One big disadvantage with X5 is, that your customer cannot make changes to the site. Only you can do that. If you make a shop for him, he cannot even apply new products, or change prices - this has to be made in X5.
If you need the customer to make changes, then he also need a X5 version for this. And you have to exchange project-files ( iwzip ) every time a project need to be changed.
So - answer to your question - X5 projects can only be edited in X5.
By the way - this goes for all products : Wordpress projects can only be edited with WordPress - Mofibo projects can only be edited using Mofibo, Wix projects can only be edited in Wix ..........
With X5 you are not hooked up on a provider. You can easily change provider and publish your project to the new provider.
With some of the online-tools you are bound to a provider.
You must remeber one thing, Wordpress Plus plan does not support SiteLock and Search Engine Optimization. For that you have to upgrade your plan to Wordpress Business or Premium.
As One.com has an partnership with Website X5, it offers Wordpress Plus plan. You can check the price here https://www.one.com/en/wordpress
If you want to continue wordpress with One.com then you have to renew your plan which starts from $3.49/month
You can use both programs at the same time, but you cannot edit the one with another.
As Anirban tells - if you want a blog made with Wordpress, you can do this. You can link to this blog from X5. One.com also has a photo.gallery and a blog, and likewise you can link to these apps from X5. You can even make the blog and the photo gallery appear on your X5 pages using iframes.
So - you can use different programs at the same time, and you can link to them and use in iframes, but you cannot mix them. Things made in Wordpress has to be edited in Wordpress. Things made in X5 has to be edited with X5. X6 has to be uploaded with X5 or a ftp-tool like Filezilla.
John S. has answered correct. Website X5 is more easy to use than Wordpress. If you want to allow your clients to edit their website made with Website X5 Evolution, it can not be happen. But in Professional versiona there is an option Dynamic Content by which someone else can edit some specific object on your website.
You can visit https://helpcenter.websitex5.com/de/post/196688 to know about the dynamic content topic

Thank you both for your answer. At least I know that for my client to make changes, he/she needs a copy of X5. I was hoping for a loop hole on how I can make a site with C5 and when I give it to my client where they can be the one to update/edit it.
Hello Paolo
The PRO version has the dynamic-content object.
With this you can let the customer insert text on a page. To be honest : I don't think this is a good object.
What you could do without having to upgrade to the PRO version is this :
On one or more pages make an iframe. The iframes should show a text-file or a pdf-file.
Then your customer could produce a textfile or a pdf-file and the customer could then via ftp ( could be made as a script bat-file or something) upload the file to the server. and then his file would be presented on the website(s) without the need of involving you.
He cannot change the pages, but via iframes he can change the content of pages.
Your customer could also produce a html-file. This way he can produce nearly "real" pages.
The file the iframes should show, should of course be the file your customer should upload.
You could also have one iframe present more files.
You can see an example of this here : http://www.bramminginfo.dk/brm02/s.-ansgar.html#section2
If you click on the links, then you will see the content of the iframe change.
The pages shown is websites, but it could as well be a single html-file or pdf-file.
"Oplysninger om kirkebygningen og kirkeinventar" is a pdf-file.
Hope you get inspired by this.
Another example her : http://www.bramminginfo.dk/brm02/egnsmuseum.html#section2
You can see an example of using html-pages to be shown in the frame by clicking "Museets historie".
The sticky buttons to the left is a bit complicated, but the arrows shown in the bottom of the pages is just links that directs to the next page. This is a simple way to make a navigation.
By clicking the "Billeder fra specialudstillinger" you will see an image gallery.
As you see : even if some people don't like iframes, they can be quite useful.
