Hello Teresa,
In V9 the administration page is /admin and not /blog/admin. Did you check that the url is correct?
To access to the administration area, you should use the admin login data written at step 4 -> Access Management.
Google Translate:
HolaTeresa,
EnV9esla página de administración/ adminy no/ blog/ admin.¿Ha comprobadoquela URLes correcta?guiño
Para accederal área de administración, debe utilizarlos datos de accesoadminescritoen el paso 4-> Gestiónde acceso.

Dear Claudio,
I know the exact URL
When I connect with my PC, I have no problems, but when I try to connect through my mobile phone (HTC - Android) always appears the same message: user name or/and password incorrects.
Can you help me, please?
Thanks!
Autor
Of course: user name and password ARE corrects.
Thanks.
Are you sure on Android the encoding is correctly set? If you see that error, it means that the system find a mismatch between the correct login data and the typed words.
Does your password contain special chars?

Yes! My password contain special characters!
How can I revise if the encoding is correctly set on my Android? Which is the feature I have to look into?
Many thanks for your help!
It depends on the device you're using.
My suggestion is to update your password using only "western" chars. That will extend the compatibility without decreasing the security level of the blog.

I am really sorry, but I tried your solution and it didn't work...
When you try to login using the mobile, at first everything seems correct, but suddenly, after the "loading..." page, it returns to "login error".
Which could be the problem? It's like... It seems that the mobile can't "connect" to the server to do authetication problem. Does it make any sense?
Thanks for your help!
PD. My web iswww.vullescriure.cat
Can we do a test?
I've made a small file called test_login.php. It just test the connection without exposing your personal data.
You have to upload the php file into the "admin" folder of your site. Then, go to http://www.vullescriure.cat/admin/test_login.php and type some data in the two fields (it doesn't matter if you type the correct login data or not) then press "Test connection".
Do this test with your PC and your mobile phone then copy and paste the printout in your answer.
You can find the file attached to this post.
Thank you so much!

Hi Claudio,
I get the same result with my PC and my mobile phone:
Array ( [txt1] => username [txt2] => password )
"Username" and "password" were the names I typed.
Does it help you?
Thanks for your help!
Thank you for doing this test. It shown, at least, that the data sent to the server come clear on it.
I've tested an admin section from a "clean" site on our server using an Android phone. The login went really smooth and I was able to navigate trough the admin section. You can try it here: http://websitex5.co.uk/examples/mrc/mobile_login/admin/
Could it be a setting of your mobile phone? Is it using Android? I suggest to reset the settings of the browser in that case.
Thank you!

Hi Claudio,
My mobile phone is using Android. All the setting are the initials ones: I just bought the mobile a few weeks ago. Do I have to test some feature in particular?
By the way, how can I try if I am able to navigate trough the admin section you posted? Which are the username and password of your example?
Thanks for you time!
Sorry, I forgot them. You can access at the admin section with the following data:
Username: admin
Password: claudio
Let me know if you can navigate through it.
Thank you!

Hi Claudio,
It doesn't work.
I type the username, I type the password. The "Loading..." page appears but then, suddenly, it goes back: "I dati di accesso inseriti non sono corretti"
I don't know what to do. Any idea?
Many thanks!
Hi,
It makes me think about a misconfiguration of your mobile phone because we can access to it using Android phones.
Googling around, I've found that some Android users had troubles while logging in into login forms.
Take a look here: http://www.google.com/support/forum/p/gmail/thread?tid=292f5357d10b953d&hl=en
Moreover, the reason why you cannot login ma be the fact that your cookies are blocked.
Go to menu in your android browsers --> more --> settings --> cookies and check if they're enabled.
Thank you!

IT WORKS!
