Google disapproved ads for this sige:  www.azbiz.biz  for Malicious links and sent a list os 44, which is about everything on the site.  They appear to mostly be graphics used from Adobe. Thx  A snip of about half the items is attached.

How do I fix this?  Help is appreciated.

Hello Clifton,

Unfortunately you would have to ask Google that question, and exactly why they are unhappy with your site.

This is not a WebSite X5 issue as such, and there is nothing amiss in the source code of your website.

It may be that your domain name was used in the past by others for spamming or similar purposes?  This sometimes happens.  Or you might have been blacklisted in other ways due to problems on the server and/or your webhosting company, especially if there are dubious websites on the same server.

In any event the onus is on Google to tell you exactly why they think your site has a problem.  Once they give you some concrete evidence then you can do something about it.

Incidentally, you have a Google Analytics tag (UA-34682720-3) incorrectly incorporated in the header of some of your pages.  You should be able to remove this by looking in the Page Properties of each page in turn, for code inserted in the 'Expert' tab in the HEAD section.  However, this doesn't have anything to do with your current issue.

Kind regards,

Paul

Thanks lots, I will go back to Google for more help.  The same site is on Bing with no problem at all.

Also, this new X5 software version is very good.  Congratulations.

Thanks, Clifton

The Google Analytics tag was incorrectly inserted (be me).  It doesn't show on Page Properties, expert, in the head section of any page.  I deleted the site from the host and re-uploaded the site, but the analytics tag was still there.  It is annoying and I guess I will go to the host.

I will go to Google again on the disapproved issue.  I hurts personally to be "disapproved"

Thanks again

In this case check also the following location:

Step 1 Settings > Advanced > Statistics, SEO and Code > Code > Custom Code

Another talk with the Google person and a new list of "malicious links" today that is about half of yesterdays.  The Googler was not helpful as to how to correct the issue.  My hosting company sees no issues at their end. This exact same site with ads is on Bing, with no problem.  She was unable to communicate to me how to resolve the issue (hard to understand her)

A suggestion as to what I can do would be appreciated.  I put the website together, thanks to your great software, but I am not a "webmaster" with knowledge on what to do.  I can forward the google email if it would help.

Thanks, again

Clifton

Clifton, are you linking to graphics on other sites?

If so you should be able to overcome the disavowed link warnings by saving the graphics locally and then adding them to your site.

Perhaps if this is not the case you could provide enough detail so we know what we are looking for on your site and perhaps the links?

Thanks,

No, the graphics are not linked.  They reside on the same computer as the software.  There are no external links on the site.  I am attaching the Google email listing the issues.  Your assistance is appreciated.  Clifton

I wish Google wouldn't be so cryptic around issues like this.  There really is no reason for them not to be totally transparent with their customers.

Anyway, Clifton, I feel that the reason they are unhappy with your site is as follows:

You will notice that all of the links begin https:// -  this means they are to be served over a secure protocol.

You do have a security certificate in place on your server.  However, it references securedata.net as opposed to www.azbiz.biz

In view of this, visitors to your website cannot currently be certain that any data they submit whilst using your website will not be intercepted by a third party.

In reality, it is quite likely that securedata.net is legitimately related to your webhost, especially if you use shared hosting.  However, the certificate is still misconfigured.

The solution would be to approach your webhost and ask them to help you correctly install an SSL certificate on your webserver, specifically for use with your website, www.azbiz.biz

Paul, that makes sense.  I will call the webhost.  Best idea yet!  I will let you know.

Thanks,

Clifton

Hi Clifton,

You will have to pay an annual fee for SSL certification, and it is rather expensive.

Nowadays most webhosts offer free Let's Encrypt SSL certificates as an option:
