I installed the new updates yesterday and almost all fuctionality of the my projects is gone. The program freezes , it takes to long to load the projects and the preview is not working and sometimes freezes the whole program. In general is very slow and freezes i m unable to edit , add and work on any project. Please advise! Does anyone else experience this issue after the latest updates.
Thank you

Hi Giannis,
please note that when you open a project with a new version, the project has to be converted. Moreover when you request the website preview, WebSite X5 has to recreate the whole website to add all the new improvement we made. After that, the software only recreates the modified pages, so it is much faster.
Is your project very big? It uses many pages, text or images? It could be useful to restart Windows and than open you project, so your system starts with all the memory and resources free. Note that the website creation needs free resources and this does not depends only on your hardware settings.

hello again
I already tried to wait out for the project to be updated. The isssue is still here with the preview and the save fuction . The preview takes very long making it extremely difficul to do anything .
Giannis, are the changes you are making causing updates to every page (eg header/footer/sticky bar, responsive design, template structure, etc) or are they simple changes like an edit to a text box. Have you tried ctrl+preview (just once) to force a refresh of the whole site?
If problems persist I would export the project (step 5, export project) to create an iwzip, then I would restart WX5 and import the iwzip (this will NEVER overwrite your existing project). Is the new project more responsive?
And lastly, if poor performance persists and you are using 3rd party protection I would temporarily disable or uninstall any anti-virus/malware protection.
