I have a MENU problem.

Menu on the wide screen (over 1150px) looks like this:

But on the screen below 720px it looks like this:

How can I get rid of the “normal” menu showing just a “hamburger”?

You can see it here .

you can redesign this in step2 template content

check the colours on the left I think it's the yellow viewport, there adjust to your liking.

check in the preview with the colour row on top select the second lowest viewport.

if the menu object is too small to hold all buttons you wil get automaticly the hamburgermenu and you can set it's position to a better place.

But it looks like you have 2 menu items in the viewport? Well anyway just check the yellow template and redesign it, actualy you should do this for all viewports.

Andre,

I re-did the menu. Here how it looks in different viewports:

1024+:

720 – 1024:

480 – 720:

As you can see, the menu doesn’t fit within screen width.

Shouldn’t it change to “hamburger”?

What am I doing wrong?

Tom, as Andre said, simply resize the menu object in the lower resolutions, words will automatically be replaced by the hamburger menu and this will not affect higher resolutions. There are 8 handles on the object, drag them until they are all within the displayable area.

Thank you, Esahc! It worked when I resized the menu for res. 480 - 720.

Well you have solved it by making it a hamburger menu.
You can also choose to set the picture in the middle and higher and try if the menu fit's below it.

And yes Eshac is correct keep the object's within the screen. (you can adjust the screen size if this is needed in the template structure for every viewport!)

check also the footer for these points.

In the end it is whatever works for you or for your site, you are in control.

Best Regards,
