How to handle/update a data base and then display it within the page?  en

Are there any instructions on how to create and handle SQL data base which should be displayed on the web page?

I need to create a data base for the hockey team with dates and places of the games, games results and standings.

...or maybe there is another way to do it without SQL?

Any help will be appreciated!

Why not use the table object, Tom?

You  can use different tab's for differen teams or competitions.....

Or you could use the LuxCal web calendar.

https://www.luxsoft.eu/

http://calendarforum.dk/

It operates on either a MySQL or a SQLite database.

If you use the L-version of the calendar it comes as a plug-and-play. The SQLite database is included.

It is very easy to install and to operate. It has a lot of features. It comes with 3 different displays that is very mobile-friendly. And of course all the normal calendar-displays.

When an event(match) has taken place, you can add the result to the event.

For the standing you could have a special event-category as a rolling-event.

You can register the users and eventually attach them to different groups.

You can then set up if publc should be allowed to see events and/or standings - or maybe only certain groups should be allowed.

This is only some of the possibilities the calendar will give.

To an event you can attach images and documents(a matter of settings) and much more.

The calendar should cost thousands of dollars - but it does not - it is free.And it is supported.

@Axel,

I looked into your 'afsoftware' page and ran "Database Viewers". It's nice approach to what I would like to accomplish. Thanks!

Is there a way to download WSX5 source of it?

@Axel,

Can you, please, be more specific where to find this "documentation to help integration with WSX5"?

Thanks!
