I can't add new side blocks to my blog. I want add one in HTML another is an image.
I've recently updated my software to the very latest edition.

Hi, I'm trying to add more side blocks to the blog, I've added them like all the other but they're not showing in preview or when I upload. One of them is mailchimp sign up form. Could this be the problem? Or is there a limit on the number of blocks you can have?

"Could this be the problem?" - I doubt it.But third-party code can cause a conflict.Try to add some blocks with images.For an experiment.
