In my website I have one page with gallery object (simple gallery with miniatures). Is it possible to make a link from other page to this gallery with showing specified picture for example the fifth one?
Andrzej, sadly you can not, although just as each picture can link to another object or page, so too can you simply link to a page or showbox to display that picture.
I know it is not possible to do it from programm but I guess it is enough to change counter of gallery from which picture it should start.
Incomedia do not support 3rd party code, especially that which may manipulate how the software works. Someone here may be able to guide you.
Hello Andrzej K.
Why is everything so difficult to do? If you need to show a specific image when you click on a link, then select the Showbox option when creating the link. In this case, you can show both one picture and several. You can choose the size of the window when creating the link. And the appearance and other settings of the Showbox can be found in step 2.
My goal is to save my work - you have 20 pictures and makes for them showbox with gallery. It is clear and i did in that way. But i add two or three pictures once a month and i need to change all twenty showboxes to add new pictures. Many workhours... if i delete all of them and add all from the beginning, then names of files changes with additional letters and seo works to to hell...
You could use another gallery. It can eventually be set up in an iframe.
It is possible to have a slideshow where you can specify a start-image in the URL.
Here is an example of a slideshow: https://bramminginfo.dk/skojtesoen.html
The startimage, transition time and manual-slideshow-allowed can be specified for the slideshow. New images can be added simply by upload of images. Caption can be specified for an image and info-texts can be made - also with html so links can be made.
You can find good slideshow-apps on the net. I Can supply more information for the slideshow if wanted.
If I don't find any better solution then I make a hidden page without other paramethers with vertical gallery with miniatures and link to it with opening in showbox. But if you know good slideshow with possibility of choicing of startimage then I will be grateful.
I know a good slideshow. The LuxAlbum.
You can see a demo here: https://pindown.eu/luxalbum/index.php?a=Berlin&s=2-4-999-0
The parameter is:
a= This is the album to show
The first parameter (2) is 0= show album 1=start stoppable slideshow 2= start unstoppable slideshow
next (4) is show-time
next (999) first image to show. If the number is <= number of images in folder then it is the number of start-image. If number > number of images in folder then the start image is a random image.
Last (0) parameter is show caption in slideshow 0=yes 1=no
Here: https://pindown.eu/luxalbum/index.php?a=Berlin&s=1-4-3-1 you see a stoppable slideshow without captions shown.
If you click the spacebar the slideshow stops and can be manually scrolled by using the arrows in the menu-bar that appears in top. Also the keyboard can be used (left/right arrows)
In the menu bar in top is a Ⓜ if the image is geo-coded. Clicking the M will show the location on GoogleMap.
Then there is a - clicking this will open the album.
The will start the slideshow. Spacebar will stop the slideshow.
If text is made for the image, then a ⓘ is shown. Clicking the ⓘ will show the text. Text can be HTML.
For the Victory Column, (Siegesseule) a text with an embedded YouTube video will be shown.
The LuxAlbum is actually an album software that can show albums with subfolders - navigation is done by using the breadcrumb menu to go up - album images is clicked to go down. A folder can either be an album with images or a folder album to select a subfolder. You can have as many levels as you wish. A folder is only included if you place a config-file in the folder. Each folder can be set up to behave different.
It can be used to only show a slideshow as it has so many features.
If you are interested I can give you a contact page, where we can continue. If you are not interested then I hope you are inspired.
Is it imagicam? I need free solution or paid one time.
It is totally free.
The LuxAlbum is ready now. I had it for beta-testing, and it is really an amazing piece of software.
It will soon be ready for download as it is an add-on for the also free PinDown: https://pindown.eu/index.html
It is here used to show the images on a map: https://pindown.eu/luxalbum
Try choosing a city (https://pindown.eu/luxalbum) and then click the "See on map" below the city description.
The site is under construction, but I know that both the PinDown and the LuxAlbum is ready for distribution.
If you are interested, I could get the production version of the LuxAlbum and then send you the LuxAlbum package.
