Technical Form Issue  en

Hi there

I have a technical issue with my contact forms not sending the details to my email.

I have spoken to my server provided 123 reg and they said its something to do with WebX5, and sent me this message below:

Hi Luke, I’ve tested the contact form and afterward checked the site’s error logs and the problem appears to be due to a line of code from the “x5engine.php“ file that’s located in the web hosting’s “public_html/res” folder.

I’ve added below the error log that was generated: eclecticselfprotection.com [Fri Jun 24 21:17:57 2022] [error] [client 160.153.26.224:0] PHP Warning: Use of undefined constant message - assumed 'message' (this will throw an Error in a future version of PHP) in /home/cluster-sites/1/e/eclecticselfprotection.com/public_html/res/x5engine.php on line 11241 You will have to speak with the developers that created the script to further advise and look into this. Our support does not cover content or coding related matters. Kind regards.

Could you please advise on how to fix this problem so my webx5 contact forms work properly and send to my email???

Many thanks Luke Pereira

Hello.
1) Use PHP 7.4 or 8.0.
2) Try different types of scripts. I recommend SMTP with authentication. You can find out the settings in the technical support of your hosting.

Hello Luke

Please also try to update your software version, then upload the entire website again online

This issue should have been solved with v2022.1.7 specifically

I remain available here

Stefano
