Why my site is in the left side an how to fix it?

I want to build my site soo the "body" starts from the left sidebar to the right part of the screen, but my page is in the left part of the screen, why? And how i set my page so the body starts from the left sidebar? I've tryed to set the backgroud in the center, but my left sidebar slides on the page... I want my page to look like this:

How to fix it, PLS HELP ME!

I guess it is about the page width.
Try to change from responsive to desktop.
Then change the width. And then change back to responsive.
Make sure it will be good in all viewports.
Gabrielle, you set the width of the sidebar in step 2 template structure
In step 2 Template Content you place the menu object in the sidebar and then double clicking to open it where you can set the width of each menu item.
Are you sure you have not set the menu item width wider than the sidebar?
