Hi,

Somebody has the same error when start to publishing the project with WebSite X5 Pro ver.2022.3.6, after the software carries out a check before proceeding with the file export i get this message:"The following test failed: Folder on Server with write permission" ? If I click ignore the WebSite carry out the export of the project but if I choose to press OK I cannot publishing the project. My hosting service is One.com which I already contact them last Sunday without any solution to fix the issue, today I receive an email from One.com where they tell me this:"Hi there,

I understand that this is a frustrating situation and I apologize for any inconvenience it may have caused you. Please be assured that we take your issue seriously and are working to resolve it as soon as possible.

I will update you as soon as I hear from the team and if you have any further questions or concerns in the meantime, please don't hesitate to reach out to us.

Best regards,"

I can publish my project online ,like I said before if I press Ignore and everything seems ok except if i try to access Reserved Access the online page shows like the second screenshot:"error online"

The error shown in the screenshot may be due to an old php version. Which php version is running on your web space? It must be at least php 8.0, better 8.1.

Hello Vanda

1_ For the issue about "Folder on Server with write permission", can be easily solved. Simply create a new folder in your website's hosting space. Then, ask the hosting space to give this folder "writing permission". Once they did that, go to Step5 -> Export the website online -> Parameters and insert the folder's name under Data Management

This should solve the issue

2_ About this issue, simply ask the hosting provider to disable PHP warnings for the website. This will fix the issue immediately

I remain available here

Stefano

Hello Stefano,

Thank you for your reply and support . I just created the new folder on hosting space which is One.com and ask the help support  to give the right permission to this folder and they come back and said: "we will try to change the file permission to 777" and in the end: "It seems like our techs are currently having some difficulties in changing the file permission. They request our devs to do it from their end" . So I need to wait more until One.com change the permissions and I will bring updates soon !

Hi, I have updates about the issue; One.com helpdesk come back with this message:"As per our Senior Technicians, you have permissions to upload in the public directory ( /www/ or the path declared in the Disk Usage in your control panel /customers/b/7/e/meusite.pt/httpd.www/ )" and nothing changed with the error message because always I use this path to publish my project and this is the file system path of my Domain.

I don´t know what else It could be done at this time

I sort it out the issue I had with the error message , following one advice found in forum given by Martin P. The solution is: in Data Managment tab from FTP and Database connection parameters I leave in the last line "Server folder with write access" in blank .
