Question: In order to sell wine I need to show the price for the bottle and the equivalent pricing in liter which is a mandotory information by law. How can I present the liter price next to the price for the bottle in the starting product page, e.g. before a customer clicks on the detail page.

Thank you so much for the link which indeed descripes the problem. I am not familiar with coding. Coming back to the message from Stefano, my question is why this extra field has not been yet included into shop system by the development team. As you can see from the discussion this feature is simply needed. When will this be available? Best regards, Jozua
It depends on how many need it to make it interesting for developers. This is just a posting that wants this and has been solved with extra code.
If many users in some countries also want this, then it will surely be built in.

In Germany this ia mandotory to have. I am more than willing to pay for this feature as part of a "object" offering" just like the other tools. At the same it increase the competitiveness of the system especially for a large market such as the German market. An investment by your developers which will pay back.

You could use the product options section (see images) and the information would always be visible in the store, on the product page and in the cart.
For me it's easier and no code, The options are set to 0.00 and since it would be the only option, it doesn't matter if the customer clicks on it, it just doesn't increase the price.
This would lead us to copy the product and establish it as another option or product, example: 0.75 L - 1.0 L - 1.75 L
TOTAL: 3 identical products but with different amounts.
I hope I have explained myself well, my language is Spanish.
Due to lack of time (it is time to go to work) I have not tested whether the options for different amounts can be established in the same product, I have put it separately, since I have not worked with liquid products. It would be a matter of trying to see if it is possible to do it. Otherwise it would be to do it separately as I described in the pictures.

To do it with the options in a single product
The configuration would be: (see screenshots)
Opt 1: €16.67/ L linked to Content: 0.75 L
Opt 2: €16.67/ L linked to Content: 1.0 L
Opt 3: €16.67/L linked to Content: 1.75 L
I assume that due to the weight of the product, the shipping cost rises more, so you will have to configure it in the order management.

Once again thank you for the answers and work-arouns. However dear developer team, a work-around remains a half good solution. For a number of products by law we need to beable to show the price in Liter together with price for the product being offered (Wine / Parfüme etc.). The shop solution should be able just to do that and therefor I kindly asky you to provide this solution. Again I am willing to pay by credits for such an option. And again competiveness of the your product is increased when offering such an option, e.g. more sales potential for your product in one of the largest markets in Europe.
