you can create links in your header to a different site with different language.

For example you can create a folder "en" in your server and link to "www.yoursite.com/en".

With you proposal I would allways start then @ the same page (e.g. index.html) of the other language versioen of the site. The folks with the link I provided above have a page specific translation realized (!). So I would need page specific language buttons per individual page (?), or could I specify the one language button link in the site header in a way, where I transfer the current page location together with the "en" and the arrive on the  same page of the other language ... (... try the site above, it's quite neat). Thanks & Greetings Juergen
