Somehow during building of my website, I got my footer background extending all the way horizontally over the screen (wider than the page width). In the demo version that I tried before, it seems this wasn't like that. Is there a way to limit the width of the footer background to the page width?

Hello Carlo,
If you add an image to the footer background and you select to repeat it horizontally then it will occupy all the space available.
You can make a background image of the exact width of the page and then add it and choose no not repeat and to align it to the center.
Please feel free to write back if you need more information.

hi Claudio,
the situation is a bit different: although I do have images in the footer, I have not chosen to repeat these, they are just a row of individual images. For the background of the footer, I have no image but just selected a color (this gold) and then selected "do not repeat". Still the "golden bar" extends over the full page. Previously, when I downloaded the demo version, this "golden" bar first stopped at the size of the page width; then, after some manipulations, it suddenly extended over the whole screen and I was not able to reverse it again. In the full version, it has been like that from the start. Nevertheless, I would like it better if the bar is restricted to the width of the page. (p.s. sorry about this font size sudde

sorry something strange was happening to the message editor... forget the p.s. above.
Hello Carlo,
If you go in step 1 in the option where you an modfy your custom template you can choose to add a color to the footer and to the background of the footer. If you add a color to the "footer" it will not extend to the whole width but if you add a color to the "footer background" this will be extended to the whole width.
Please let me know if this helps.
