Error 408 (Timout) is shown if the request you sent to the website server took longer than the website's server was prepared.

I suggest you to retry the update again.

thanks to your reply!
In the meantime i often tried to update, but always I am shown the same error (screenshot uploaded).
All other programs are closed at this moment, the only task opened is Website (Update).

The error in your screenshot is 406 (content not acceptable?) - a quick google search will find lots of references.

Have you tried uploading your site using Filezilla or similar?

Perhaps you have misconfigured your website update and it's not sending your site to the public html folder?

I have the same problem like Aurel J. Everytime I try to update WebSite (v9) I get error 406 and sometimes error 404. WebSite is the only running program. For some tests I disabled firewall and virus scanning software. The problem remains.

Hat jemand schon eine Lösung gefunden?

Meine X5 version habe ich aus der Computer Bild kostenlos erhalten; möglicherweise ist diese Version nicht update-kompatible?
