cant open in x5 says error while loading project and previous to this i couldn't upload to internet say check with server very confused, please advise. thanks

Do you have internet explorer V11 installed ? if so deinstall and use V10 or another browser.
The install of V11 - just the install- is enough for V8 not to work properly.
