Recently we changed the operating system from Windows XP Professional to Windows 7 Professional (64 bit) On one of the workstation we tried to reinstall WebX5 version 10 from the previous download of Webex5 v10 that we saved, after we changed the operating system to Windows 7 Professional (64 bit) on this workstation. The program was installed fine but every time user wants to open the program it always asks for Administrator password, despite the fact this user was assigned in windows, all the privileges to open this software.
Kindly help us out at your earliest. If you have a seperate download for Windows 7 Professional(64 bit), kindly send us the link immediately.
Thank you.

Try starting the software as admin.
USe right-click on the program's icon then select ''run as administrator''. Then start your program.

URGENT !!! URGENT!!! URGENT!!!
No matter what you do I have tried everything, it asks for administrator password everytime when you work on this software. I am so sick and tired and I do not want to give user the administrator password. I hope you understand my situation and would try to help me out, otherwise I will forget about your company and your software. I am so frustrated at this time. CAN YOU COMMUNICATE WITH ME ON MY EMAIL ***
Hi Satish,
please delete the program from your computer then install again as user, non as administrator. If it still doesn't work, please check your windows settings and let me know.
I hope this helps,
Samantha

Hi Samantha,
I tried that, but no luck. Maybe I am thinking when we downloaded the software in the past, we selected windows XP professional download, now we are on windows 7 platform, maybe this download we saved previously is not for windows 7. My computer guy he did all kind of settings in windows, but no luck. Can we get a new download of your software for windows 7 maybe that might help. Kindly advise urgently. ***
This is very urgent. Kindly respond quickly.
Thanks !

Satish,
You can download the latest version from your profile here in Answers, this is compatible with win7.
Goto top right button profile -> then select download.

URGENT!! URGENT!! URGENT!!
I am still having the same issue, did not get resolved.
Now I have another issue as below. we need your help desperately.
When we updated our operating software, for some reason the project file was deleted. Now I need to know is there anyway to download the website of the domain name and be saved in X5 in the format that I can edit the website. Or do I have to re create the website all over again. Please advise.
Satish,
Its very unfortunate but without a backup somewhere else you need to start over again.
Is the map of x5 also deleted or maybe on your drive somewhere ?
Scan the whole pc for a *.iwprj file. If it's gone then you have to start over, you can use text and pictures from internet but importing your project is not possible.
Sorry for that.
Goodluck !

We cannot give the Administrator password to this user who is using WebX5 on her workstation. She has several other program installed on her workstation. Only WebX5 has been asking administrator password all the time if she has to do work on WebX5. No other software asks her for the administrator password. We have tried all possible options even downloading the current version as per your advice, but no luck. We just wasted lot of our time on this issue. I think you guys have to fix this issue. We gave up on this unless you can help us out, otherwise we will say goodbye to Incomedia.

Hi Satish!
I'm sorry but the only thing you can do is delete the program and install it again as user, not as admin. If it does not work you have to look into your Windows settings it does not depend on the program.
The program starts with the user you have installed it on. If you have set that only the admin can install and the user can't, the program will ask you to install as admin.
Please check this out and let me know if I can help you any further.
Thank you,
Samantha
