Annoying gap at the bottom of text  en

No matter what you set the bottom margin to, Website X5 Evolution 10 always leaves at least 3 blank lines at the bottom of the text. This creates irritating gaps which severely limit your page layout. This has nothing to do with the contents of adjacent cells as in the attached example the adjacent cells are empty but Website X5 still leaves a gap at the bottom. The gap appears to be lines because if one reduces the font size the gap reduces accordingly. The bigger the font the bigger the gap. In the attached example all margins (inner and outer) are set to 0. Note the space at the bottom of the text despite the 0 margin. This problem spoils what is otherwise a great and easy to use app. I see from this forum a number of people have raised this issue but I do not see a solution.

There is a space behind the last dot.

you got: app.<here is a emty space>then comes your mouse pointer

press end button on the last sentance then backspace to delete the empty space (it's probably an enter) .

That should do it.

Sorry, not sure why it posted like that. What I wanted to say is that removing that one space after the full stop made no difference whatsoever - there is still a large gap at the bottom of the text.

It's strange, I open up the project, check preview, the gab is there.

close preview, open the first text field, close the text field with ok button, without edditting or doing anything, open preview, gab is gone !

I'm amazed ..... Can anybody test this ?

Could it be a .NET Frameworks issue, you can always try to remove old one and install new framework or try to reinstalling  x5.

Hello Mark Nicholas,

Try to repair the .NET Framework and try also to downgrade your Internet Explorer to see if this helps to solve the issue.

Try also to disconnect from internet and then close all running programs in background like also the antivirus/firewall and then test it again.

Please keep me updated.
