OK, I have a problem importing Evolution 10 projects into Evolution 11. I've followed the instructions to export the file from V10, then imported it into V11. At 99% of import, the program crashes. Upon restarting the computer, I find that the project is in my list, but it will not open. I seem able to create new projects (after "registering" the FREE templates..... bad move that Incomedia!!), but not import old ones. This is not a good start to my V11 experience. I was really looking foward to this, and now it's gone pear-shaped!

Hello Glenn,
Does the following document shed any light on your issue?
http://static.incomedia.eu/websitex5.com/v11/v10tov11_conversion_en.pdf
In particular with regards to template selection?
Kind regards,
Paul

Hi Paul.
I used that document, to import the project, in the first place. It would appear that you have to ignore the option to "Open the program now", after installing it and reboot the computer. However, once a template has been "partially installed" in this way, it cannot be deleted from the list of available projects and will not open properly. I get an error message, saying "The specified project is in use or has not been closed correctly. Do you want to continue?" when trying to open it. Then, when trying to delete it, I get the message "The specified Project cannot be deleted because it is in use or has not been closed correctly".
With regard having to register templates, I really feel that this is a backward move, on Incomedia's part. It's really difficult to determine whether the templates not marked as FREE are something that you have to pay for, before you click them?
Hi Glenn,
first of all, I wish to inform you that every template that you can see now in the template list is ready to use, you do not have to pay for them.
You can import your template in Step 1 - Template Selection - Custom Library - Import. Once you see it in this section, hit ''ok'' then CTRL+preview on your keyboard.
I hope this helps and please feel free to write back if you have anymore questions about this.
Thank you,
Samantha
