Hello Andre,

Please can you post a link to the exported page on the web?

Kind regards,

Paul

You're welcome...

The search field doesn't appear in the source code on the web page at present.

Can you hold down the 'CTRL' key whilst entering the preview mode in WebSite X5, then export the site again in Step 5?

Let us know when you've done that and we'll take another look...

Kind regards,

Paul

Hi Paul

Can I call you a genius?

After holding down the CTRL key, the impreview took a while to show up.

Once exported, the search field is now integrated.

Thanks a lot.

What is the function of the CTRL key in this?

The 'CTRL' key forces X5 to flush the preview cache of old objects/files, and then build the preview & project files afresh using the most up-to-date data.  This is why you experienced a delay before the preview showed up.

You can use the 'CTRL' key method during normal web browsing too...  it's not confined to WebSite X5 only.
