Video not working with Mozilla Firefox, but works with Internet Explorer  en

I recently purchased the Evolution Version 11 and generated a simple web site with a video on the home page. The video on the website works fine when the site is viewed using the Internet Explorer but the video does not work when viewed with the Mozilla Firefox. The web site is:

Can you provide any recommendations to get the video to work with Mozilla Firefox?

Hello Jonathan,

Support for MP4 H.264 video is unfortunately a bit iffy in Firefox:

https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/HTML/Supported_media_formats#MP4_H.264_(AAC_or_MP3)

You could try re-encoding using a media converter software.

The best option, however, would probably be to provide a 'fallback'...  this is where you upload the same video in other formats, allowing the browser to decide which one it can play.

There's plenty of information available on the internet regarding how to do this.  Here's a pretty good article which I found after a quick search on Google:

Kind regards,

Paul
