The supplied upgrade V11.0.1.12 fails to install. I have attempted it several times even re-installing the original programme to no effect. It fails with an error 406. Any suggestions ?

Hello Donald,
Are you trying to upgrade from within the program itself?
If so, please try this method instead... download version 11.0.1.12 from here:
http://answers.websitex5.com/profile/downloads
Then right-click on the setup file and select 'Run as administrator'
This will install 11.0.1.12 over your existing 11.0.0.9 version - there is no need to uninstall first.
Let us know how you get on.
Kind regards,
Paul

Yes, I was upgrading within the program as it directs you to do. Your link has worked fine. Is that indicating any issue in my installation ?
Thanks,
Donald
I wouldn't worry about it, personally. Error 406 is often caused by an over-zealous anti-virus/firewall combination, or other local network/internet issues.
It depends on the individual circumstances of each user.
If you get a similar error on any future updates, try switching anti-virus or firewall off briefly whilst attempting the update within the program. Once you have found the culprit you can add an 'exception' to the AV/firewall rules.
Kind regards,
Paul
The error 406 happens to me if the EVO is updated antivirus (Kaspersky) enabled.
The solution is to disable the antivirus (x 10 minutes for example) and perform the update.
The latest updates have made the case.
Luck.
