Links to web pages that have been moved  en

I find that if I create a link to another web page, within the same project, and then alter the position of the linked web page in the map site order, the link doesn't move with it.

Instead, the link then points to the Home page

I find this a bit of a nuisance.

For example, I have groups of photoalbums that reflect the four seasons of the year and I like to keep the order of the albums as starting with the current season.

HOWEVER, when I do this, any page link to one of the moved albums will revert to HOME page.

Can you understand what I'm saying?

summer/autumn/winter/spring now becomes autumn/winter/spring/summer (because it is autumn now)

This makes the links from another page default to Home Page.

Is there an easy fix here or am I asking the impossible, technically.

Best,

Nigel

Hello Nigel,

Can you please write me the exact steps you do so I can check what exactly happens?

I added a link to a page which then I moved in another subfolder but the link was pointing still to the correct page. Probably I didn't understood the correct way to duplicate the issue and if you write me the exact steps to follow I can test it.

Many thanks!

Hi Claudio...

Sorry...I have tried twice and cannot duplicate the problem.

I am wondering if it was an anomoly that happened when I last updated the version.

It's not happening now so I will abort this query and see if it happens again in the future.

Lol

Nigel
