hello there... it would be nice to see Page Background for menu section where it covers the entire width of the page... like in footer and header. Also option to have seprate editing section for menu background. As well as to add search bar to menu section with editing and adding differen buttons and images. In short exactly same functions as footer and header. Thanks...

They had an example Teeshirt X5 site somewher Sunny. I cant find it because its hidden somewhere in this chaotic search engine...
But in there I learned how to get the full screen background. Its actually all over the this blog. You are asking the same question others have.
They cant make the menu smaller as this is a template drived web design package and once you publish your project it is designed to fit an iPhone and an iPad as well as laptops. So the narrower menu section doesnt suit wide screens.
The other issue from a designers perspective is that people can only read so much in one line (let newspaper columns be your guide.) and filling the width of a wide screen doesnt make an enjoyable experience for the browser/visitor.

Thanks Rob for replying back... the reason i put this idea was when we scroll page down the page, menu bar stays on page but it only show the background upto the width of the page not the whole screen width of your monitor... if you check your own website page u will understand what i am talking about.... cheers...

@ROB: i also understand the page has to adopt other screen width like phone, ipad etc.. Developers can add coding to the menu bar to behave as per screen size. Thanks...
