I have some pdf-files that I want to be shown when I click on a dropdown from menu-line. It shall not be on a new site, but just on the browser.

I have tried this:

.Create New site.

create new level.

Select properties.

Select File or URL

Internet file - and tab the http://

The first level is fine. But the second level cannot be  shown. theere is a command with the text plug'in not advable or  so.

Hello Peter,

What happens if you swap the links around?  Does the second level then show the PDF whilst clicking on the first refuses to display it?

It sounds more like an issue with the PDF files themselves rather than anything to do with the menu structure.

Can you post the full text of the error message?  Concerning the missing plugin?

You could also post links to the PDF files so we can try on a test project ourselves, but only if course if the material is not private/confidential.

Kind regards,

Paul

I have tried to use another server, and then it was OK.

The way i have shown in my description,  is that the correct way to do the job?

I  would like a point to point manual how to make it.

Oh! I just regonized that the pdf-files was on server1 and the site vas on server2, because i had forgot to change the name.

Therefore it worked. Very strange.

I'll come back to the problem again later.
