I would like to remove old, oudated pages that I no longer want on my website.
Can I do that using wesbitex5 or do I have to do it through FTP?
I have removed the pages in my project and re-uploaded but the old pages are still there even though, of course, they are no longer menu items.
Thank you

Hello Duncan,
You can do this either using a third-party FTP client, or alternatively using step 5 of WebSite X5 itself.
If you want to do the latter then go to Step 5 > Upload the WebSite to Internet and click the 'Next' button. On the following screen you will of course see your FTP credentials, etc. as normal... click on 'Next' again... after authentication with your webhost you will see the familiar view of the files and folders on your server.
At this point, instead of clicking 'Start' to do a site upload as normal, rather look to the toolbar near the top left of the screen. You will see a 'red cross' icon (tooltip marked 'Delete the selected file or folder') - highlighting any file or folder in the server view and then subsequently clicking on that icon will delete the file/folder from your server.
This is because Step 5 of WebSite X5 incorporates its own basic FTP client.
You could most likely also use your webhost online control panel to delete any files or folders you no longer require, as most of them have some sort of File Explorer.
Kind regards,
Paul
