Pre-set text on checkout page

Is there any way of changing the pre-set text on the shopping trolley checkout page?
It is pre-set to read:
"Choose the shipment and payment mode you prefer, then click on the 'Next' button to go next."
But this isn't applicable to the site I'm working on.

Hello Anne,
You can change this in Step 1 General Settings... look to the extreme right of the 'Content Language' field... you will see a small icon to the right of the arrow for the drop-down menu... click on this icon.
In the new screen which opens scroll down until you get to the entry 'cart_step1_shiplist' in the 'ID content' field... you will be able to directly edit the default text using the field to the right of this.
Once finished be sure to click 'Close' to save your changes... do NOT click the red cross at the top-right of the dialogue box.
Then upload your project to the server and test.
