Shipping cost by Qty not working correctly  en

Hi,

I have evo 11.

In attachment my costs by quantity settings (1 & 2)

For who doesn't want to look at the images:

4 settings

>= 0 - 1,22€

>= 5 - 1,83€

>= 11 - 3,05€

>= 26 - 5,9€

Now in the shopping cart, when I select 1 item, I get a shipping cost of 1,22 (image 3)

When I set 4 items I get 1,83 (image 4), witch is not correct, it still should be 1,22

This also applies to the other values, 10 is wrong, 25 is wrong.

I know I can change the values until it is correct, but that schould not be nessasary, it should work as aspected and set.

Hello Jurgen,

When WebSite X5 refers to 'Cost related to the Order's amount', it is referencing the amount of the order in financial terms, as opposed to quantity terms.

This excerpt from the help file illustrates this:

Cost related to the Order's amount: you can define a range of shipment costs, that depend on the total value of the order. The Add... and Edit... buttons open the Shipping Cost window, where you can define the Order's amount to be reached or greater than, to apply the specified shipping Price.

Here is a link to the full page:

http://help.websitex5.com/en/v11/evo/index.html?metodo_spedizione.htm

So the software is operating as intended and there is no error here.

Kind regards,

Paul

Hi Paul,

Ok sorry for that, I must have read over that part and thank you for your fast reply.

So the only way I can mimic that functionality if I set a weight to 1 for each item.

Still maybe something to be added in the future...

No problem at all, Jurgen, and you're very welcome.

If you like you could open an 'Idea' post to suggest that the developers might add 'Shipping Cost by Quantity' to a future version of WebSite X5.

Have a good day.

Paul
