Ability to change TAX from VAT to GST in shopping cart  en

I have just started using your program, X5 Evolution, so far so good.

Doing business in Australia we use GST (goods and services tax) instead of VAT... I'm sure if did put a shopping cart up with VAT instead of GST, the wording alone would make the shoppers get out of there!

Can you include the option to change the label wording from VAT to GST? At present our GST tax rate is 10% for some items and 0% for others...  i wouldn't be surprised if the rate changes in the near future, hence the option for different rates built into the program is a must.

looking forward to your response.

thanks

Hello Les,

You can change this in Step 1 General Settings...  look to the extreme right of the 'Content Language' field...  you will see a small icon to the right of the arrow for the drop-down menu...  click on this icon.

In the new screen which opens scroll down until you get to the entry 'cart_vat' in the 'ID content' field...  you will be able to directly edit the default text using the field to the right of this.

Change the following variables in the same way:

cart_showvat_included; cart_showvat_excluded; cart_field_vat; cart_total_vat; cart_vat_address; cart_vat_included; form_VAT

You might want to change some other settings in the list while you're there...

Once finished be sure to click 'Close' to save your changes...  do NOT click the red cross at the top-right of the dialogue box.

Then upload your project to the server and test.

Kind regards,

Paul
