WebSite X5 uses FTP or SSH (also known as SFTP) to upload files to the web server of your choice.
So if you can access the server which powers your college website using either of those two protocols then you will have no difficulty in publishing X5 pages to the same server.

you can also publish your website inside your computer and zip all the files and folder and upload anywhere with any protocol.
as long as there is a server (web host) at the end of the tunnel, you are good to go.
