How to edit website without project file

I set up a website last year in Website XL Evolution 9. I found the software easy to use and the website works very well.
I had a problem with the old PC I set up the website on, and the project files on that PC hard drive are now inaccessible.
I have XL Ev 9 on my new PC, but there does not seem to be any way for me to edit the website except by importing the project files which have to be in a format that can only be created by exporting, and of course I cannot do this as the old PC is not working.
I can download all the website files from the server, but XL Ev9 does not allow me to edit these - any suggestions?

Just remember for later - Create a backup and secure now just create a new project and also pinned apply. There's no way of importing the previously exported html data
Like Der said, there is no way without having project files, good point is you already have the text and graphics, all you need to do is start a new project, add the graphics you already have and copy paste the text.
make sure this time you will keep a back up copy of your project file.
