Websitechanges every time loads up whole website again instead of only the changes

Every time I want to upload only the changes that I made (and off course I choose the option, "only upload changes" the whole website loads up again. In the past it didn't occur but now it occurs often and it takes a long time because it is a big website to load up entirely.
I use X5 version 9.
How to avoid this process?

where do you make the changes? if your changes are placed in header or footer, it will impact your entire website.

No not in header or footer. And sometimes it does only the changes and is in 5 minutes ready. And often it does whole the website and it takes some hours to load it up.
do you placed any attachment inside any of your pages? like videos, audio files, etc
if the page has links for file, it will upload all of them again even if you did not toch them and you just change a text inside that webpage.

I have a lot of pictures on the site. But I have them since site is working (3 years) and as I told, earlier the site didn't upload whole site but just the things I changed or added. And the strange thing is, that sometimes it only upload the changes and sometimes (more often) it uploads whole site. Even when I do same changes. It takes me a few hours to upload whole site. So maybe there changed something in software? Or am I doing something wrong?
Honestly is hard to tell! since I am not sitting next to you, I can not really tell

Hello Astrid,
If as example you add a further foto to a gallery then all the images of the gallery are uploaded again since the object is changed. It depends on what you modify and if this contains more data or as example it is connected to other pages.
