Slow Preview

I can not do any web changes, as the preview in V11 is just too slow...
I can view my site "live" instantly, but to preview my site has become impossibly slow.
There has to be a solution to this as I am not the only user with a problem.
When trying to ***, the following display is in the task bar at the bottom, for quite some time, before the page eventually appears.
Loading......http://127.0.0.1:8080/pagename.html
127.0.0.1 is a pc's standard loopback adress.
I have deleted the preview/upload folders, and it made no difference.
I have tried ctrl, when I click preview, no difference.
I never had this issie with V8/9/10.

Ctrl + preview only loads the entire website so that makes it even more slow. try to save your changes then hit the preview, see if that changes the result.

Please check if any program like antivirus/firewall is blocking the preview of the program since this could be the reason of the slow preview.
You can also try to change the adress used by the program for the preview in the preferences to see if this helps.

Nope changes on the preview spedd after tweaking and disabling Avast
Any suggestions on a different loopback adress?

You can try a different loopback adress by changing the final part or just simply change the port used as example to 81 and then test it again. Try different numbers to see if then it works or if your antivirus/firewall shows a message informing you about a program trying to connect and it is allowed.

No Luck, If I do a complete uninstall, will I lose any of my projects?
Perhaps a full uninstall and a fresh re-install will solve the problem.

I have done the uninstall and a fresh re-install....and the preview still takes very very long.
What is the CPU requirement ?, my CPU is a Dual Core 2.5Ghz, with 8Gb Ram....
When I request a Preview, I notice that my CPU Usage goes to 100% on the Microsoft performance monitor...The Preview folder size is 320mb...
Will a Core i3 or i5 solve the problem?

I don't think it depends on the CPU but more there is a program which interfers with the preview. Are you using any proxy program or anything else which could interfer with the loopback address?
Does the same happens with every project like also a new one?
If you have the possibility to test the program on another computer check if there you experience the same issue.

yes the preview, is a problem with all my projects, big or small...
I will need to find What is causing the problem.
Question...with the Pro version, will I be able to create "tabs"..."toggles & accordians", as is available on this site ?
Also adding "links" to parts of images ?

In the Professional Edition in the Text and Table you will find the option to create Tabs where you can add different changing effect and automate it.
You can test the Demo Version so you can see all the other functions included.
About the preview if it happens with every project then there is a setting or a program which blocks the preview address making it appear slow.
Try to see if disabling the programs in backgroud helps to identify it.
