Shirley,
I checked the help file in V8 because I can't remember myself, it's been a while sinds i used it.....
this is in the help file:
Local File: Choose this option if the video or sound file is stored on your computer. Simply click on the ... button to look at your computer's hard drive for compatible sound and video files; WebSite X5 is compatible with AVI, WMV, MPG, MOV, QT, RM, WAV, MP3, WMA, MID, AIF, AU and RA video and sound files. Once you have chosen your file, it will be imported into the website Project.
I suggest converting it if you want to use it to a format that is compatible.

just use html object and add this code. change the link to reflect your video link.
remember to upload your video files in your server first, then add the address inside the code
<videowidth="320"height="240"controls>
<sourcesrc="movie.mp4"type="video/mp4">
<sourcesrc="movie.ogg"type="video/ogg">
Your browser does not support the video tag.
</video>
I did not test it, see if that works for you, but it should work because by default your browser will respond to it.
if you dont have the ogg format of your same file, simply remove that line of code.
change only the src for path <sourcesrc="example/file/my-movie.mp4"type="video/mp4">
