Gallery of pictures locked for single users

I created a picture gallery locked for special users, but how do I avoid that anybody just type the url for a picture and get access ?.

for path of the picture, you need to use .htaccess.
for the page, if you locked the page and made it at private page, without username and password no one can access that.

If I lock the gallery page I need to specify user and password correctly, but anybody can display a specific picture via url.
If i protect my gallery folder with .htaccess to avoid this problem, my gallery page can't display any of my pcitures for any users.
no, they can visit your page but they can not access to the folder, for example if the pictures are being saved in folder name "img" if they put in (for example) www.yourdomain.com/img/, it will show errors to them, unless they know exactly the file name inside your folder.
alway remember, if some one see/visit your page, that means they already have everything you have inside your page, the smart one knows where to look, and normal users don't.
for locking the folders for browsing, simply put this inside your .htaccess

Is there a way to give PHP scripts access to all files, and thereby controle access by existing lock function, but at the same time exclude all users from a subfolder.
