Table Backgrounds and Header Background Colorations  en

I have created numerous pages in Version 10. These tables contain links and information. Very simple, whiote background with black text. Since upgrading to Version 11, my tables now default to the template coloration. Even if I select other colors than the default, my text is now missing. I have uninstalled version 11 and no-change. I have also tried re-installing and the same results.

Seems nothing is working. The work around involves opening the code once on the CPanel server and altering each page.

It also seems that one feature that might be useful is to open the sites one is creating in either format HTML and Code. With more than 10,000 links and information, this process is rudimentary and time consuming. Why are my backgrounds defaulting to the template?

I have also tried adjusting the background features under the Advanced Properties/Graphis and I do not wish to over-ride the template in its entirety by changing the background of the entire page or customizing the page background. Merely wish to get my simple Black Border/Black Text with White/Background back!!

Thank You

David,

create a new project and see if that happenes inside the new project as well.

if the new project works fine, I suggest to create your template again, do the setting, then open another v11, open your project, then copy/paste your objects inside the new pages, you can save time big time since you are able to open 2 v11 side by side.

if this post is the correct answer, please mark this answer as correct answer.

Hey! Guess What? It doesn't work. The migration from X5 Professional and its templates are over-written by Evolution and its templates. Why? Because the numbers do not coincide with each other. Photography 1 under X5 is now Photography 31 under Evolution. One would think that someone would merely write a script that allows the software to recognize that you cannot upload an existing Project into Evolution. The error message tells you that you cannot do so.

Also, unable to upload a zipfile from X5 to Evolution. What one has to do is create a new Project under Evolution and merely re-create your entire website from scratch. However, do not use tables, you will only find a boatl load of grief as you cannot cut and paste a teble from one software to another.

Basically, migrating from Evolution is turning out to have been a very bad idea. It was not my intention to start from scratch all over again. Not a very good idea.

Hello David,

The Professional projects cannot be opened with the Evolution version. It can only be done the contrary.

The Professional Edition has functions which are not available in the Evolution and so the project cannot be opened and edited.

The only option is or to get the Professional edition or to recreate the project in the Evolution edition.

Many thanks!
