Can anyone help me understand how X5 handles multiple copies of the same image?
So I make a website and I use a particular image, say 100 times. Does X5 create 100 images for the site or does it know to use the same image over and over again?
Also, does anyone know if the same applies to ShowBox Gallery items? If, for argument's sake, I create a ShowBox Gallery containing (50 pictures) which opens when a button is clicked, AND I then copy this button on to another page, will I have 100 pictures or will it know to use each picture twice?
I am trying to create a website with multiple copies of image content but I am keen not to make my website 3 times larger than it already is.
Many thanks.

Hello Joe,
If you add multiple copies of the same image the program doesn't know if it's the same image and it uploads all of them since itcan be thesame name has been used for different images.
For the image object, to avoid to upload more times the same image you can add the image once and then upload it so you will find the link online to the image and then in the further objects use the online link option.
The gallery has not this option since the images needs to be elaborated to fit to the space and to create the thumbnails.
Many thanks!
