How to create clickable 1000+ item index to link to gallery of 1000+ images

Hi I have gallery of 1000+ images of obituaries along with excel file listing these as 'jpg (eg JohnSmithJuly2010.jpg) Also have gallery of these images similarly names
Need to create Webpage using WX5 which links 'index' (visible on page or by opening poss excel file) and the images themselves
Will need to add to list over time.
Any suggestion please?

Hello Roger,
At the moment it is not possible to have this feature in WebSite X5. I would like to suggest that you open an "Idea" Post where you describe to us the feature you would like to see implemented in the future releases of WebSite X5.
If you find a custom code to get this feature, this code can be added in WebSite X5 with the HTML and Widget object in step 3. In this way, if you find scripts that suit your needs, you can easily use them inside the Software. Also if I cannot give support to third party custom code, I can explain you how to add it in WebSite X5.

May I ask, are there any ways is which I can use WX5 to link many images (presumably in a gallery) to a 'hyperlinked' index of some description?
How would you solve this problem please?

Hello Roger,
It needs to be done manually in the program. The only alternative is tu use the HTML code object if you find an alternative way to create a HTML code with the links faster.
