Please can anyone tell me: how can I convert or adapt a website design for PC browsers I've already made using WebSite X5 11, into an iphone or smartphone style format?

Select in step 1 , a template for mobile, use the pulldown menu on top.

Select a template for mobile and you should be ready.

Had a couple of suggestions and reminders, went to your profile, came back and info was blew out. Oh well, maybe later.

Hello Paul, just a couple thoughts, what other people are doing.

One, save a copy of your complete project with a different name. (Of course) Reduce the page width to your target range ~320 to 600 or a few hundred pixels at a time on your template and make the proper adjustments.  Then rearrange and/or remove items on the pages as needed.

Two, just save your template(master page), start a new project, import in, make the adjustments to your master page. Then open your regular site to use as a model, add what you want from it and copy/paste where you can.

Remember that X5 allows only one template (master page) per project. So you'll need to have a new domain name or a sub domain. ( e.g.: mobile.paulf.com) Your host will help.

(Paul, with all due respect, having the video load up front and play is a .........? Takes way to long, several seconds.  Never got to your website and my download speed is a fair 23 Mbps. This will even be slower on mobile also.  In today's world most will wait a couple of seconds, not much more and move on. Have a regular home or welcome page and a youtube video or use the X5(?) built in player.)

Regards - Donald
