.htm vs .html  en

I purchased Website Creator, websiteX5 evolution 9 about a month ago, created my website and uploaded it to my ftp site, it's not live yet as I wanted to test it before going live. I noticed the old files on the ftp site were .htm extensions versus .html created by my software. I trying to get an answer from the server host, but I thought I'd ask here, could this be the issue why my site doesn't work correctly ?? The the servr doesn't support .html or that the file extensions need to be .htm ?? If this is the case, is there a way I can make my files .htm instead of .html when the site it created? I've attached an error that I get on one of the page from my website, not sure it it will help...

Any assistance would be appreciated.

There is no difference in htm or html exept for the naming itself.

The problem is more to the naming of the folders I can't believe that this is a correct name for a file / folder: ftp://milcomcorp.com:***/milcomcorp.com/wwwroot/products.html at your server,

Check with your provider the ftp adres and set a correct folder in v9 when uploading. Use the help on that page in x5.

Thanks Andre,

I just purchases version 11... I'll see how this version work, I like the fact that I can analyze and optimize the site before uploading.

Thanks again
