Applying Coupon Code removes shipping charges

Hi
Re X5 Professional v.11
It seems that if I apply a Coupon Code to an order, this has the effect of removing the shipping charges. It makes no difference if you try to re-apply the shipping charge because it isn't accepted and the final charge with PayPal is the actual cost of goods less the coupon discount and no shipping cost.
The website is abiwear.co.uk.
Can anybody help?
Many thanks

I made an error in reporting this "problem".
It transpires that the software takes the discount off everything , including the Shipping" charge.
Is it possible to just apply the coupon code to the cost of the item only but not the shipping charge?
Many thanks - apologies for the previous mistake.
Hello Cos,
The discount for the whole cart adds the discount to the final price which contains also the shipping costs.
If you want to add the discount only to the product you need to open the product settings window and in the discount tab activate the discount function with the desired options so the discount will be applied only on the product price.
Many thanks!

Hi Claudio
Does this mean that you have to apply this function individually to each product?
I am just trying to apply it as a global setting to all products which makes sense to me, but of course I can see that it is useful having the individual option also.
Otherwise it becomes more time consuming having to change everything individually.
Many Thanks
Hello Cos,
At the moment the coupon code for the cart is applied to the total cost which includes the shipping cost so the only option is to add it to the single products.
I would like to suggest that you open an "Idea" Post where you describe to us the feature you would like to see implemented in the future releases of WebSite X5.
Many thanks!
