The coupon code facility could be further enhanced so that it provides better and more complete functionality, for example..

I am just trying to apply the coupon code  as a global setting to all products which makes sense to me, but of course I can see that it is useful having the individual option also. These products are already subject to individual and various discount offers, but it would be nice to be able to switch off all discounts so that one can apply special event coupon codes for all products and then switch back to previous individual discount offers globally without having to make the changes individually.

The coupon codes must apply any discounts to product prices and not to include the shipping cost as at present.

Otherwise it becomes more time consuming having to change everything individually.
