It's not an idea but was unsure where to put this, a lot of questions were asked about evolution 9 not working after you upgrade, we have a guide on how to get it working again after you upgrade from v9 just follow the instructions here http://www.x5tuts.com/forums/topic/reactivate-website-x5-evolution-9-upgrade/
