Adding Script  en

Hello,

I will be using google analytics, and need a cookie notice. I have found one to use, but it says i need to add some code to the body of each page i want the notice to appear, and also add a file to the "server directory".

It says the file must be accessible from the root directory of the site.

Can anyone tell me how to add the file, and exactly where?

Do i just click on "Upload file to server" button in the "Export to internet" page?

Thanks

Hello P.S.,

Please see the screenshot attached which shows the best place to insert custom code of this type.  However, code inserted here will be added 'universally' to every page in your site.

If you wish to add code to certain pages only, then you should insert it on the 'Expert' tab of each page in question, accessible by clicking on the 'Properties' tab (right-hand side of the screen) in Step 2, Map Creation.

Code added in this way will automatically be uploaded to the root directory of your WebSite X5 project by default.

Any additional files can be uploaded in Step 5 like you suggest, or alternatively you can use a standalone FTP client like FileZilla.

The root directory of your site is the folder which contains the index.html (or index.php) file for your WebSite X5 project.

Kind regards,

Paul
