Hello Eelco,

Can you post a screenshot of any error messages?

Most web hosts have restrictions on file uploads, and in particular on the size thereof.

It is worth having a word with your hosting provider or checking their FAQs to ensure that you have the necessary permissions in place to be able to upload in the way you would like.

Kind regards,

Paul

There are no error messages. the attached file will be just not there.

I tried a very smaal picture like the one i attach with this mail.

In the beginning it worked fine but without any warning it stopped working.

The provider claims it is the used coding that couse this.

Can you tell me witch permissions should be set where?

Thanks in advance,#

Regards,

Eelco Eekhof

Check that you have the correct recipient email address entered in the appropriate field on the 'Send' tab of the Email Form Object (see attached screenshot)

If the form originally worked correctly then something has changed in either your WebSite X5 project, or on your server (web host)  -  try and think of anything at all which was modified around the same time that the email form stopped working.

I realise that your web host claims that the issue is not on their side, but web hosts can and do make changes to their configurations which can break things.

Try temporarily altering the email form to send text data only.  If you can receive this correctly then the issue would seem to be with attachments, in which case I feel certain that your web host has the solution.

Please keep us informed as to your progress.

Kind regards,

Paul

The form on itself works exellent.

Mails go to both the sender and the owner of the site.

Only when upload pictures they disappear or in some cases they come in as text and therefore unreadable.

I am trying to upload the site with the appropriate changes to the server of xs4all and see if it works there.

I keep you informed

OK, it definitely looks like an attachment issue in that case.

Be sure to specify which file format attachments you wish to accept in the Email Form in WebSite X5, and also check with your webhost and email provider that these file format attachments can be received.
