Problems with setting email  en

in "contact us" page when I try to send I get this message:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STATIC, expecting T_OLD_FUNCTION or T_FUNCTION or T_VAR or '}' in /usr/local/pem/vhosts/190543/webspace/httpdocs/res/x5engine.php on line 3035

Hello O. ElSaadi,

Please check with your web host as to which version of PHP is installed on your server.

WebSite X5 requires a minimum of PHP 5 in order to operate correctly, as detailed in the system requirements:

Unfortunetly PHP on the server is 4.3, any other solution?

I contacted Host provider requesting to upgrade their server to 5.X or higher witing for their response

The only other solution would be to use custom scripts for the contact form, instead of the WebSite X5 native scripts.

However, this is not advisable if you will continue to run PHP 4.3  -  it is strongly recommended to upgrade PHP on the server to version 5, or alternatively move the site to a new web host, in the interests of security and functionality.
