Hello Jan,
Have you tried uninstalling and then reinstalling WebSite X5?
This has helped some others who have experienced issues in Windows 10.
Kind regards,
Paul

Hi Jan.
As a first time procedure, almost like any other user did, I suggest that you uninstall and reinstall both .NET 3.5 and 4.0, then try to reinstall your software with your antivirus off and launch it as Administrator.
Let me know how these first steps go

I just removed WebsiteX5 Evolution again and reinstalled it. There is now a problem with CefSharp.dll is missing. Where can I download safely that file and where should I copy it to?
Will this solve maybe the problem?
Jan
I kindly ask you to try this:
We recently found out that the reason why many weren't solving their problems with CEFSharp by reinstalling Visual C++, is that independently from your OS, you should install Visual C++ 2013 x86, 32 Bit and not x64, 64 BIT.
Further to what Stefano has advised, please note that the safest place to obtain the files is directly from the Microsoft servers:
Visual C++ 2013 32-bit Redistributable Package:
http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=40784
The file you require is vcredist_x86.exe
Just run the setup file as normal and follow all prompts... the installer will ensure all files are copied to the correct locations on your system.
Kind regards,
Paul

Is the error still that CefSharp.dll is missing, or has it reverted to the original issue that the mainscreen never loads?
Could you please try uninstalling and reinstalling WebSite X5 once more, but this time change the default installation directory for WebSite X5 to C:\Program Files(x86)\WebSite X5... this solved the issue for another user with very similar problems on Windows 10:

Please keep us updated... we would like to help as much as we can.

Paul,
I installed WEBSITE5X VERSION EVOLUTION 11 on another PC`without any problems!
I copied the Incomedia map in documents and can work on now.
The problem is not solved, because I need the program on mij laptop!
Jan
Can you confirm that on the second installation attempt you installed to the alternative directory as described above?
Can you describe further please, Jan... any error messages, or screenshots? The more information the better...
I installed WEBSITE5X VERSION EVOLUTION 11 on another PC`without any problems!
Please advise what operating system is installed on the PC which is running WebSite X5 successfully. If it is Windows 10 then can you also advise what the previous operating system was, and whether the OS was 32-bit or 64-bit.
Can you also please let us know what OS you were running prior to installing Windows 10 on your laptop, and again whether the OS was 32-bit or 64-bit. Did you do a clean install of Windows 10, or did you 'upgrade' from a prior OS via Windows Update?
All these details will be useful in advancing a diagnosis and troubleshooting what the issue is with your particular laptop installation.
Each user's configuration is unique... unfortunately there is no universal fix for these isolated cases where difficulty is encountered having moved to Windows 10.
Also, did you do this... I've re-read the thread and there is no indication one way or the other...
