Importing X5 into host sites

Is it generally allowable to upload a site developed on a PC with X5 versions to most of the larger hosting sites who would otherwise be expecting wordpress or joomla or drupal etc.
And is this as straightforward as using FTP to upload the file set on the PC into a matching directory on the host site - or is it quite messy and specialist with the host site likely to regard the use of X5 as "specialist web software" needing there permission to upload etc.
I ask because on the face of it the HTML5 and css nature of X5 indicates there should not be an issue

Hello Trevor,
WebSite X5 is only a means to an end, a tool to build web pages with. Once you have compiled a project and exported it to your server, the HTML source code and CSS, etc. is virtually indistinguishable from any other.
I don't fully understand your question, but I can assure you that the code which WebSite X5 produces is generic in that sense, and standards compliant (HTML5/CSS3, etc.)
The only extra features required in order to make full use of WebSite X5 are PHP support and provision for MySQL databases.
Do let us know if you require further clarification.
Kind regards,
Paul
