Hello Jarkko,

That error message indicates an issue on the server (it doesn't have anything to do with using Vista, etc.)

Check carefully your FTP details in Step 5, especially the 'Destination folder'  -  you must set WebSite X5 to upload into the correct folder on the server, and you must have sufficient privileges and rights to do so.

I recommend using a good FTP client like FileZilla (https://filezilla-project.org/) to establish first a working connection to the server.  FileZilla has more comprehensive error messages which will help you to rapidly diagnose the cause of the problem.  Once you can connect successfully in FileZilla you can then copy the correct settings across to WebSite X5.

If trouble persists then message your webhost asking them to check that your server is configured correctly.

Kind regards,

Paul

Hi

After that error I have uploaded a web page by using FileZilla and website is online correctly withouth any error message.

First when I created this website I:

1. useed the Dynamic contents feature so that others can update them, as for the CMS, working directly online, created a database

2. then I deleted Dynamic contents because it was too hard for the customer

3. tested it on Crazy domains server withouth any probem with upload

4. then saved a website to a file.

5. then I installed WebsiteX5 v.10 to a customers computer temporarery (don't know why but they wanted to see how it's works...)

6. and then I imported a website and tryed to upload that to a finnish company server but that error message appears

But later today I will test it again and we see then if the problem is solved.

Problem was about gzip compression, if enabled on that server it won't upload.
